Tierra y Vino
Andres Ibarra, who has been making wine in the Santa Ynez Valley for more then 30 years has launched his own label Tierra Y Vino with his life partner, Caren Rideau. Ibarra had garnered a lot of praise from wine critics over the years for the wines he has created under other vineyard labels along with receiving top honors from every prestigious wine competition for more then two decades. Most recently Tierra Y Vino has received gold medals and 90+ points for their 2016 Rosé and their 2014 petite Sirah at the 2017 San Francisco Int'l Wine Competition. Tierra Y Vino produces less then 700 cases per year to ensure the hands on quality synonymous with Ibarra and Rideau's exacting standards. you can visit them at their tasting room at 140 Industrial Way which is open to the public every Saturday and Sunday.
